There was very little to play for in terms of promotion and relegation other than final positions regarding the end of season’s play-off’s.

Boreham Wood finished the regular season in the runners up position after an impressive 4-3 win at Chelmsford. Lee Angol put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes courtesy of his superb free-kick but seven minutes later Harry Hickford headed home a corner to level. However, the visitors re-took the lead on the 32nd minute when skipper Callum Reynolds headed home another free-kick. Junior Morais made it 3-1 just two minutes into the second half but Rohdell Gordon after 71 minutes and Leon Redwood’s 30-yard screamer pulled the Clarets level. But Wood won it with ten minutes remaining, courtesy of Graeme Montgomery.

Basingstoke Town had to come from behind to beat Weston-Super-Mare 2-1 at Woodspring Stadium to set up a play-off semi-final showdown against Whitehawk. Ollie Watkins put Weston ahead with seconds of the first half remaining. But Nicholas Bignall levelled just five minutes into the second half and then Tom Bird put Town ahead from the penalty spot with only eight minutes remaining as Weston goalkeeper Dan Jackson was shown a red card for bringing down Tom Jordan.

Whitehawk ended up fourth after winning against Havant & Waterlooville, who subsequently finished fifth. A crowd of 1,127 watched JJ Hooper give the home side a lead after 25 minutes. The visitors hit back with goals in the 73rd minute through Jake Robinson and then Ahmed Abdullah’s last minute winner. Havant now meet Boreham Wood in a two-legged semi-final with the first at Havant on Wednesday night.

Gosport Borough earned an impressive 2-1 victory over champions Bromley to seal a sixth-place finish – their highest-ever league finish. Matt Paterson and Adam Wilde put the home side ahead after 38 minutes and just after the hour-mark before Anthony Cook grabbed a consolation in stoppage-time.

Concord Rangers finished in a respectable seventh spot after a 3-0 win against relegated Farnborough at Paddy Power Park. Alex Woodyard broke the deadlock three minutes after half-time to give the visitors the lead. A brace from substitute Tony Stokes in the 75th and 86th minute sealed an easy win for the Essex side.

Ebbsfleet United ended eighth courtesy of a 4-0 smashing of Bishop’s Stortford at Stonebridge Road. Matt Johnson gave Fleet a 20th minute lead before Adam Cunnington doubled the lead seven minutes before the break. Stuart Lewis added a third straight after the interval before Cunnington added his second and Fleet’s fourth 7 minutes later.

Hemel Hempstead’s Marvin Harriott missed a second half penalty as the shared the points in a goalless draw with Eastbourne Borough. For a third consecuting season the Tudors finished in a club record highest league position.

Elsewhere, Johnson Hippolyte signed off as Maidenhead United manager with a win over Sutton United at the Borough Sports Ground. The home side took the lead after six minutes through former Maidenhead midfielder Dale Binns. The Magpies equalised after 34 minutes Harry Pritchard scored a spectacular goal from 30-yards out. The winner came on 84 minutes through Stefan Brown.

St Albans City ended their season with a 3-0 victory over Hayes & Yeading. Michael Malcolm broke the deadlock after 78 minutes and the lead was doubled by Steve Wales a minute from the end of normal time. Then John Frendo made it 3-0 in the sixth minute of second half stoppage-time.

Already doomed Staines shared a 1-1 draw at Wheatsheaf Park with mid-table Bath City. Elliot Buchanan gave the Swans a 10th minute lead before Ashley Kington equalised moments before half-time.
