Baseball outdoor training starts 2017

Bristol Baseball Club starts outdoor training Sunday 2nd March

Bristol Baseball Club starts outdoor training at its new Somerdale Pavilion home in Keynsham this Sunday (2nd April) at 9.30am.

The club, which runs two teams in the South West Baseball League, is offering two free training sessions for people new to the club and the sport.

After this Sunday, training will revert to Saturday mornings from 9.30 until noon.

“Our winter indoor sessions attracted a lot of new people to the club but if anyone missed them we would be delighted to see them at Somerdale,” said head coach Rhodri Theaker.

As well as putting on two introductory sessions and the indoor training, the club also moved from Failand, built a completely new facility at Somerdale and  launched a crowdfunder campaign to help fund this development.

The league season starts on Sunday 7th May when the Bristol Badgers entertain Taunton Musketeers while the Bristol Bats travel to take on the reigning champions, the Taunton Muskets.

Further details about the club, membership, training and social events can be found at their club website.
