Premier Division

Chippenham B 15-20 Yatton Keynell A

Yatton pulled off an important away win in their relegation fight, with Ray Powell gaining MOTM. Chippenham only fielded two players but both Scott Cooper and Andy Cox both scored well and won the doubles.

Chippenham C 9-28 Bathford A

Bathford are starting to climb the league again with a solid win against bottom placed Chippenham C. Teenager Will Avery got the MOTM with a maximum whilst the experienced Brenda Baldwin won set for the home side.

Bathford B 19-21 Bath Invaders A

Bath Invaders A are picking up wins more regularly now but had to battle hard in this match. Josh Kashdan may have picked up a maximum for the home side but the doubles decided the game with a 3-2 win for Bathford; those two points for the Invaders sealed the win.

Oldfield A 16-23 Oldfield B

The A team could only field 2 players which allowed their B team to spring a surprise. Phil Marshall was MOTM for the A team but Martyn Le Butt and Paul Redman scored well for the away side.

Oldfield C 23-13 Bath Invaders B

There is now 40 points separating these two teams with this vital win for Oldfield C. However the Invaders have two games in hand, giving them 60 points to compete for. Oldfield had Sasidharan Anandraj and William Guibarra to thank with maximums and a 3-1 doubles win.

Division One

Ensleigh A 21-19 Radstock B

Ollie Newton was on form again as the teenager gains 9 points again for the home side. These points helped Enseigh edge this close tie against a strong Radstock side.

Bear Flat A 20-20 Bitton

There aren’t many draws in table tennis but there was nothing to separate these two teams. It came down to the doubles with Bear flat winning the fifth set to secure the draw.

Bathford C 21-20 Oldfield D

This was another close game in Division One with Colin Thomas gaining 9 points and MOTM for the home side. The doubles was key again with Russell Cole and Richard Wickham winning the first game in a 3-1 loss which was enough to get the win for the home side.

Key Centre A 16-15 Chippenham D

Chippenham D almost sprang a surprise with their two man team with Ben Greene putting in a MOTM performance, alongside Steve Deeble.

Radstock A 28-9 Yatton Keynell B

Top of the table Radstock had all three players in form, however Yatton did pick up the doubles win to ruin a perfect result.

Division Two

Ensleigh B 6-30 Batheaston A

The table topping team overcame Ensleigh away without losing an overall set. Captain Dennis Townsend was awarded MOTM for Batheaston as the lead stretches to 48 points.

Oldfield E 16-22 Bathford D

Lee Bailey was back for Oldfield with a MOTM performance but this wasn’t enough to beat Bathford. Greg Rowand and Glen Avery both gained 8 points each for the away side.

Key Centre B 19-15 Radstock C

This was a clash of two inform teams with the Keynsham side edging the match. Paul Gray was unbeaten again for Radstock, whilst all three Key Centre players gained 6 points each.

Batheaston B 8-27 Bear Flat B

Bear Flat B are gaining on Key Centre with another strong outing, Tim Cahill getting MOTM.

Mayfield 26-11 Bear Flat C

Experienced duo Reg Morris and Stephen Tanner both got 9 points each with Mayfield continuing their fine form.

Yatton Keynell D 15-20 Chippenham E

Two teams fighting it out not to finish bottom of the league had a tight match. Yatton have managed to add Wilf Adams to their ranks and he was the MOTM, however Chippenham were too strong overall to prevent an upset.
