Keynsham started out with some early chances from Justine Lorton, but the visiting keeper wasn’t tested.

Then the game changed with a rare attack by Buckland on twelve minutes. An attack on the right finds 9 with time and space in the box to touch and finish well, 0-1.

The first save for Buckland’s keeper came after a clever short corner routine by Lorton to Rachel Cullen with a one two but Lorton’s shot was tipped over the bar, on sixteen minutes.

Keynsham’s Asia Brown couldn’t have been closer on twenty two minutes as she glides past her marker on the left to work her way to goal. However her finish was wide on the near post.

A change in the Keynsham formation paid off as Annys Turner was released up front to finish well past the advancing keeper, levelling the score on twenty four minutes.

There were half chances for both teams as the half goes on. Number 9 looks dangerous up front for Buckland with time to get shots off, which could end up costing Keynsham.

A scramble in the last five minutes from a corner did nearly cost the hosts, but 12’s shot is blocked as Buckland look to go in level at the break.

Buckland 6 fires wide as half starts. This followed shortly by a counter from Keynsham, Cullen finds Lorton who sets up Turner bringing a save from the Buckland keeper.

Hesitant defending from Keynsham letting the ball bounces presents 9 with a shooting chance, coming off the inside of the post.

Cullen and Turner both had half chances for Keynsham but the finish isn’t coming off; as the home side start to come into the game more.

Keynsham’s short corner works again with Lorton getting free this time but her shot rebounds off the post into the keepers arms.

Lorton passes to Jasmine Bull in a quick counter but the first time shot was wide of the near post as Keynsham go close again.

The deciding goal was an absolute screamer in the eighty eighth minute. Keynsham attack down the middle with Kirsten Rendall finding Libby Piggott in the middle of the park. The midfielder takes it forward, looks up and unleashes a fierce strike into the top corner, from outside the box.

Keynsham aren’t sitting back as the game draws to an end. Piggott finds Turner but she couldn’t connect properly and the strike goes wide.
