The Larks showed what they are capable of last night (19th Aug) with a 2-0 win at Plain Ham that could easily have been a victory with a greater margin. The win takes us up to 6th in the table on 7 points.

Two early goals – one from Darren Jefferies and the other from Ollie Price, both within the first 8 minutes of the game – stunned our visitors, who had little or no reply to the Larks’ superior passing and strength on the ball. Totton fought back somewhat in the second half but Kyle Phillips and his defence were determined to keep a clean sheet and maintain Plain Ham’s reputation as a fortress.

We now go into a tough test at the weekend against Swindon Supermarine, who have won 3 out of their first 4 fixtures. Come along and support your team!
