Bath City FC play at Twerton Park situated just behind Twerton High Street. They play their football in the Conference South (2016/17) which is one promotion away from the National Conference and two promotions from League 2. Their nickname is ‘The Romans’ and they have won the Southern League twice in recent memory; once in 77/78 and again in 06/07.

Traditionally a very strong non league team who have enjoyed high finishes in the Conference they have never gained promotion to the Football League. The closest they have come was in the 77/78 vote into the football league where they narrowly lost out on promotion to Wigan from the north.

Larkhall Athletic play at Plain Ham situated over the other side of the City. Recently promoted to the Southern League South & West Div One (2013/14) the Larks are enjoying playing at their highest ever level (2016/17). This success wasn’t just down to the hard work of the management team and playing staff but of the volunteers and committee members who fought hard to get their ground up to Southern League standards.
