Avon 2nds continued their winning run with a 32-5 win against local rivals Walcot 3rds

Wearing their new kit for the first time, a well turned out Avon side got down to work straight away scoring within 8 minutes. Walcot were dangerous especially when Avon made unforced errors so it was no surprise when they came back with a try of their own to reduce the deficit.
Avon seemed to go up another gear in the 2nd half, totally dominating the scrum and piling on the points with tries coming at regular intervals from Bradley Bray, Adam Stone, Greg Hammer, Rich Wyatt and Pete Watts. Matt Thresher added two conversions and a penalty.
This means Avon 2nds remain unbeaten after the first month of the season and are poised in 3rd place in Somerset Division 3.
