Bath City
A bumper crowd of 1006 witnessed City go down 2-1 at home against Wealdstone.
It was the club’s Family Fun day with doors to Twerton Park open from 1pm with children’s activities leading up to the game. Family tickets were reduced to £20 from £25 for two adults and two children.
On the pitch the team couldn’t replicate their five star showing against Hemel Hempstead on the club’s last community day, Women at the Game, where the club won 6-0. This time Gary Owers’ men suffered their second straight defeat after losing to Gosport Borough 1-0 in the week.
Chas Hemmings managed to bundle in a freekick to level the scores going into half time. However Wealdstone were awarded a penalty in the second half to secure all 3 points.
Bath’s next game is against Maidenhead United on Saturday 1st, ko 3pm.

Larkhall Athletic
The Larks didn’t waste any time in putting the Swans to the sword with a goal in the first minute in their 5-1 win away to Slimbridge. It was Greg Peel who opened the scoring with goals from Joe Raynes and a penalty from Jamie Lyons in the first half. Ryan Thwaite was sent off for the home side just before the break yet the ten men pulled a goal back in the second half.
However the Larks were too strong with another penalty from Lyons and Joe Tumelty rounded the scoring off.

AFC Odd Down
No game this weekend, but another chance for Ray Johnson to re-access his squad before host a strong Bradford Town side on 4th April.
Keynsham Town
Chris King’s men came back with a clean sheet and all 3 points from Calne Town with a 2-0 win. Goals came from Matt Curnock and Matt Brown both in the first half with keeper Ben Nicholls keeping a well deserved clean sheet in just his 3rd game this season.
Matt Curnock and Cameron Shorney both made their 50th appearance for the K’s; scoring 4 goals and 3 goals respectively. Curnock played a full season in 2014/15 but then left to join Oldlands, re-joining the K’s half way through this season.
Shorney made his debut season last season when King was bringing through some talented youth teamers. This season he has been a main stay in their very successful campaign. However in the programme notes for Bishop Sutton on the 17th Feb it was reported that Shorney had left the club due to a lack of game time. Everyone at the club must be pleased that he has stayed as the midfielder has made 33 appearances already and has shown that he can now make a decent contribution in the Western League.
Saltford
The Runts came away with a 1-0 win at Pensford on Saturday which keeps them in 3rd place just four points away from the top with a game in hand. This was a scrappy hard fought game but a vital 3 points for a team chasing the title.
