Keynsham Town Reserves are seeking a kit sponsor for the 2018/19 season.
After a 4th placed finish in Somerset County League Division 1 East last season this young Keynsham side are now looking for new sponsors for the upcoming season.
“A kit sponsor or any sponsorship is a massive deal for a club like Keynsham Town. As many people know all the money the club has is generated ourselves and from sponsors. We don’t have anyone putting money in like other local clubs, so it really is essential for the club” says joint manager Josh Bruton.
Keynsham Town FC give young players a chance in their first team and Josh was one example of club progression. The defender went through the age groups to make just over 40 first team appearances before turning his hand to coaching. Other recent examples are Matt Curnock, Jordan Anstey, Kyle Box and Pat Davison to name but a few.
“Being a reserve team as well naturally money for kit and equipment is even harder to come by, so we are hopeful that a local business or company will be able to help and support us to keep us moving forward.”
This season Bruton and Brian Sealy will look to promote more players from the Under 18 side and the Third team. This helps their progression and they take on fringe first team players to keep them match fit. Having a Reserve team at the club keeps young players at the club after they graduate from the under 18 team, without this many would lose touch with their home town club.
All home games are at the AJN Stadium on the club’s rented 3G pitch and attract between 30-100 spectators every game. The team have their own page on the club website and a Twitter account to promote their games and sponsors.
To talk through kit sponsorship and individual player sponsorship please call Brian Sealy on 07986 722236 or Josh Bruton on 07811 036270.
The under 18 team is also in search of a main kit sponsor this season too:
A sponsor gets their name on the front of the shirts, as well as publicity on their website and social media.
