Premier Division
The top two teams in the division are really pulling away for the pack with both Chippenham A and Oldfield A winning. Recent Singles and Veterans champion Gary Baldwin provided a maximum for the leaders as they overcame Bathford B, who had to call up Colin Thomas from Division One.
Oldfield gained a point on the leaders but there is still a 23 point gap, can they make this up to claim the title?
A lot will fall on the form of Phil Marshall and Ali Pearson, who attained 9 and 8 points respectively against Yatton Keynell A.
This loss for the Yatton side keeps them in a relegation battle with Chippenham C and Bath Invaders B both winning.
The win for the Invaders was most significant as they overcame third placed Chippenham B. It was a strange game with Chippenham only being able to field one player, yet Andy Cox claimed MOTM with 8 points for the away side.
However the win puts the Invaders within touching distance of safety with just 8 points separating them from 10th placed Yatton Keynell A.
Chippenham C aren’t mathematically down yet but they will need to win well in their remaining games, as they beat Oldfield B 20-19.
The last game in the division was also a close run affair with Bath Invaders A continuing their recent good form to beat Oldfield C.
The game was sealed by the final singles match with Len Vowles beating Nathan Proud 3-0, allowing to the home side to exercise their right to play a fourth player in the doubles. Oldfield won the doubles but the Invaders are still breathing down their neck with two games in hand in 9th place and just four points behind.

Division Two
Similar to the Premier Division the top two teams are pulling away with just four games to go.
Batheaston A had to play at their very best to overcome a revitalised bottom placed Yatton Keynell D. Wilf Adams gained MOTM for Yatton and helped win the doubles, yet they could only field two players which has been a problem all season.
Key Centre B had a resounding win over 11th placed Chippenham E with Dave Carter, Ricardo Perpetua and Stu Wood all winning maximums.
There were two extremely close games for the four teams chasing promotion. Bear Flat B drew with Mayfield with Tim Cahill getting MOTM for Bear Flat. Lee Bailey was in form to pick up a maximum and MOTM for Oldfield E as they beat Radstock C 21-20.
Elsewhere, there were big wins for John Turner’s Bear Flat C against Ensleigh B and Bathford D beat Batheaston B, with thanks to Mark Davis and Glen Avery’s maximums.
