Premier Division
Oldfield A had their chance to overtake Chippenham A but Gary Baldwin and Bibek Karki were too strong. Chippenham now need just 8 points from their remaining match to mathematically clinch the title.
Chippenham’s C team are already gearing up for Division One as they battled hard against a strong Bath Invaders A team. Len Vowles and Ian Maggs gained maximums for the Invaders.
The Invaders B team performed ever so well to run Bathford A close in a 18-17 loss. Nicholas Branch continued his fine form this season for the Invaders as they are now just 3 points from safety with a game in hand.
Elsewhere Chippenham’s B side had a comfortable win over Bathford B. Kai Moosmann was MOTM for Chippenham as secure a third placed finish.

Division One
Radstock A will be crowned champions as they dispatched Ensleigh A at home. Chris Bennett capped a fine season with another MOTM for the home side but had to play at his best to defeat Ian Clark and young Ollie Newton.
Key Centre A have also claimed the second promotion slot despite a narrow loss to Yatton Keynell. Brent Pollard has continued to impress for the Keynsham based side.
At the other end of the table Bathford C and Oldfield D are both virtually relegated to Division Two. Both team lost away from home and would need to win by 30 points and Yatton Keynell C to lose without scoring.
Oldfield D had the best chance to win as they face Yatton Keynell C away. However they found Tony Payne and Richard Terrell in fine form. Bear Flat A side were too strong for Bathford C with Andrew Steady receiving MOTM.
In the Division’s only other was Bitton’s away win against Chippenham D. Alan Papier was the stand out player for Bitton who will finish the season in third place, whilst Chippenham move up to fifth.

Division Two
Batheaston are champions of Division Two, having only lost once all season! Peter Smith was their MOTM with Nigel Pedley also gaining a maximum 9 points in their win over Bathford D.
The battle for the second promotion spot is set to go down to the last game of the season. Key Centre B are in the driving seat with a 19 point gap over third placed Bear Flat B. It was 23 before this week but a home loss to Bear Flat B, with the impressive Tim Cahill causing havoc again, cutting it by 4 points.
However just underneath third place sits Mayfield and Radstock B, who can also still catch the Keynsham side, with their game in hand.
Mayfield dispatched bottom placed Yatton Keynell D with a maximum 30 points, thanks to Nigel Woolley, Reg Morris and Andrew Cobb. Their game in hand is against second bottom Chippenham E. So if they score another maximum and beat Key Centre then they can go straight back up.
Chippenham won’t be an easy task with Steven Berry playing as Radstock found out in their win this week. Their game in hand is the return leg away at Chippenham but they will need a maximum and another strong win against the Champions to overtake Key Centre – if they lose to Mayfield.
So lots depend on strong results elsewhere but Sue Ruse’s team will know that 15 points will be enough to get promoted outright.
In other games Lee Bailey inspired his Oldfield E side a narrow win over John Hunter’s Bear Flat C team. Both of these teams have played well throughout the season and will look to improve next season with the potential to enter a promotion race.
Finally Norman Thomas and Phil Gentle scored well to help Batheaston B beat Ensleigh B. The win has given them ever chance to climb a place higher, in the last game of the season, as they are only ten points away from 8th.
