Bath Broncos season is in full swing and are currently sitting mid table in what is probably the best standard they have played since forming a few years ago having won promotion to the league in 2016/2017 season.

For Bath Rugby League this is an out of season fixture, but a fantastic opportunity for new players to come and experience the club and the sport. The squads have joined forces and will be having a joint training session in the lead up to the fixture on Sunday 9th December, 5pm till 7pm, meeting at the Sport Training Village entrance at 4.45pm before training on the AstroTurf; trainers required.
The session will be led by Morgan Evans (Bath University Broncos – Head Coach). Morgan is also a professional Rugby League player and Wales Rugby League International, so an opportunity to pick up some useful hints and tips to improve their all-round game.
Bath Rugby League, spokesperson said,
“These events are a fantastic opportunity for the current squad to get together out of season, but just as important is an opportunity for new players to experience the club and the sport.
While we want to improve and develop as a squad ahead of our 2019 league campaign, we also want to give anyone who wants to play the sport an opportunity to do so. We welcome anyone to come and try the sport and see what the club is all about at the joint training session and challenge fixture”.
Bath Broncos, Chairman, Billy Snaith said,
“We welcome the opportunity to play against Bath Rugby League and will look forward to this becoming an annual challenge for both clubs, it will be a good final hit out for the lads before our Christmas break, we don’t often play evening fixtures, so we will look forward to playing under the floodlights at Trowbridge RFC”.
