Three more sign for Bath Aug 2015

Three more sign on for Bath Futsal Club

First team player/manager Billy Whitaker has secured some key signings for Bath as he looks to strengthen his National League Div Two side.

Tom Hill was the first one to sign on dual registration with Street FC. Street play in the Western League Premier Division and has been watched by Whittaker last season. “Hill is technically proficient on the ball and is an intelligent player, I’m sure it won’t take him long to adopt his game and make his mark on the National League” says Whittaker.

Former Bristol City academy player George Windsor has joined the club for the 2015/16 season. He currently plays under 19 county futsal for the South West and will be looking to get a good number of National League games under his belt this season.

The third signing is a bit of an unexpected bonus for Whittaker and the team. Spaniard Javier Calero has signed on after moving to Bath this summer. Calero boasts a decent futsal CV having played in the Spanish league and has a great technical understanding of the game. After impressing in training Whittaker has said he is the man to watch for Bath this season.

On Sunday 9th August the first team make the short trip to Cardiff to compete in a round robin tournament against Cardiff and Gloucester. They are due to play at 2pm and 6pm and this will be the first chance Whittaker will have to play alongside his new look Bath team.
